1. Absentee bids are
executed in competition with the audience. Due to the uncertainties
of bidding patterns, a lot may sell to the audience for the same amount
authorized by an absentee bidder. Absentee bidders may authorize us
to bid one increment by placing a (+) sign beside their maximum bid.
In the event of identical bids, the bid received first will take precedence.
2. Heritage Auction House offers this service as a convenience at
no charge to their customers who are unable to attend the auction
and will not be held responsible for error or failure to execute bids.
Lots that are damaged and not so catalogued, renders the bid void.
3. If successful, you will receive a statement. Prompt payment and
pick up of purchases must be made within 3 days of the auction, unless
other arrangements are made. Mailed or E-Mailed bids should be confirmed
by telephone.
4. Please note that sales tax will be added if your resale number
is not on file.
5. All bids accepted will be executed subject to our Conditions of
Sale and Information for Buyers as published in our catalogue or available
at the house office.
6. Please call before auction to put your credit card on file. We
